Jiayi Liu

I am an Assistant Professor in Information Systems and Technology Management at the University of Pittsburgh School of Business. I received my Ph.D. in Information Systems and Operations Management from Emory University.

My research sits at the intersection of healthcare operations, behavioral economics, and health IT. I study how people and organizations make decisions in healthcare under uncertainty and operational constraints, and how technology and policy shape their choices. My work has appeared in Management Science, Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, Operations Research, Production and Operations Management, and Nature Human Behaviour.
